Location and Accessibility:-Chorabari Tal is located just a few kilometers away from the Kedarnath Temple, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Shiva. It’s a relatively short trek from Kedarnath and can be reached by foot.

Origin:- Chorabari Tal is a glacial lake, and its waters are fed by the Chorabari Bamak Glacier. The pristine blue waters of the lake are a striking contrast to the rocky terrain and snow-capped peaks in the vicinity.
Gandhi Sarovar:-The lake is also known as Gandhi Sarovar in honor of Mahatma Gandhi, who visited this region in 1948. There is a small memorial dedicated to him near the lake.
