Vasudhara Falls Falls is one of the famous tourist attractions in Uttarakhand State. It lies 9 km away from Badrinath, one of the Char Dhama – four sacred shrines located deep in the beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas. Surrounded by beautiful mountain peaks, it is a 6 km trek from Mana village, a village often linked with legendary myths of Pandavas. It’s believed that Pandavas had passed through Mana village, when they on thier journey to heaven.
The most beautiful waterfall in Uttarakhand are the Vasudhara Falls, which are located in the middle of the Alaknanda River. These waterfall are an awful place to relax while taking in the scenery of the clear blue sky and towering mountains.
Vasudhara falls is situated at a place where glaciers and mountains peak both are in unison. Set at a height of 12,000 feet above sea level, it is 400 feet high. From a distance, the waterfall appears like streams of milk flows down from the mountain.
People believe that the heavenly beauty of the Vasudhara falls can only be savoured by those who are clean, pure and unstained from guilt. Although, it is a remote destination but the undiluted beauty and cool ambiance of this waterfall tempt the nature worshippers to visit it.
